"Businesses" for Heroes!
August 29th, 2008We’re so excited to have more and more manufacturers, retailers, scrapbooking businesses, and stamping stores join in this effort!
Supply donations:
You may have noticed lately that our “Thankful Thursday” posts filled with gratitude to a number of companies who have been so very generous! Thanks to our shipper Claudia for her efforts in recruiting help, and to Paula and others who are talking up our project to their connections and generating more help too! We’ve had some exciting donations come in that you’ll hear about in a few days - stay tuned to this blog on Saturday for the HUGE good news!
As donated goods come in, our shippers are sharing them with cardmakers as we have personal resources to do so. (Note that CFH donations are used to ship boxes of cards to our heroes, unless a gift is designated to help get supplies out to our crafters.)
If you have a contact with a company who would like to participate, or if you are a business who would like to help, we’d love to hear from you!
Upcoming cardmaking parties:
With fall arriving soon, and Christmas season following shortly thereafter, we’re hearing about more cardmaking parties. If you’re having one let us know and we’ll help you get the word out! Here are two we know of in September:
