**Important news!!**
We can now receive checks made out to “Cards for Heroes"!! You may still send in cash donations if that’s easier for you, or Paypal funds to donate@cardsforheroes.org - we are so grateful for your help, especially in this heavy mailing season before Christmas! Please consider asking your friends, family, and coworkers to each chip in a few dollars and sponsor a box (or three!).
Shipper Requests this week:
NOTE: We once again have A2 envelopes available, so you may send A2s and A7s without envelopes. Shipping tip: If you’re sending a small number of cards, take them to the PO and ask them to weigh them and tell you if a Flat Rate box is the best deal or not for the amount you’re shipping!
Kris, KS:
I am in need of Christmas and winter cards and birthday (especially for men and children). I was blessed with a large supply of envies but they are not the normal card size. If you would like to make cards to fit what I have, please email me for details. Any Hero letters are also something that I’m in need of. Email me from the shipping addresses pages to let me know what’s on the way!
Claudia, WI:
I could always use children’s and teens cards. Email me from the shipping addresses page to let me know what’s on the way!
Shannon, CA:
I need birthday, miss you, and love cards. Email me from the shipping addresses page to let me know what’s on the way!
Sandy, WA:
I could use fall and Christmas, as well as wintery-looking love and miss you and birthday. If you would like to make “card fronts” for the Envelopments, please email me for details! I also love having AnyHero letters to tuck in, too–they say they’re the best thing for morale! Email me from the shipping addresses page to let me know what’s on the way!
For our friends at Operation Quiet Comfort:
Diane Schneider is OQC’s volunteer card coordinator, please contact her directly at diane52381@nc.rr.com if you have questions or signed or blank cards to send.
(Get well cards from children and adults are always needed for wounded heroes in combat field hospitals; feel free to continue with Get Well cards that are not seasonal in addition to the special request.) M
