We just want thank each and everyone
From a Marine in Afghanistan, dated 30 July 08; this unit was part of our recent ’surge’ of blank cards and AnyHero cards to lift morale for extended heroes:
We just want thank each and everyone for supporting us and our platoons while we are here in Afghanistan. Our platoons enjoyed everything and anything that was sent our way. Please continue to support us, we have been extended for another month. The Marines were pretty down about that decision but all was soon forgotten when you all send these wonderful care packages with these notes and cards that says, we care about you, or thank you or we are praying for you. Once again thank you for all that you do and keep us in your prayers.
